In Meurthe-et-Moselle, we are still far from being able to compose a complete meal composed solely of local products but this is indeed the objective stated by Françoise Souliman, prefect of the department. To do this, she brought together around the table all the stakeholders concerned, on the one hand, the heads of local authorities, and on the other, the representatives of the agricultural sectors.
If certain sectors are already organized, such as the beef or cereal sectors, others, that of open field market gardening, are still to be built but for that, real commitments are needed in terms of public orders explains Sophie Lehaye, vice -president of the Meurthe-et-Moselle Chamber of Agriculture.
