The Swedish press published a bombshell on Monday afternoon. According to the media Aftonbladet, an investigation into an alleged rape was opened last Saturday. The events allegedly took place in the center of Stockholm, where Kylian Mbappé and a few relatives, including his former PSG teammate Nordi Mukiele, spent two days. The police and technicians notably went to the hotel where the Frenchman stayed. However, no link between this group and the rape has been established, the prosecutor in charge of the investigation not wishing to make comments for the moment.

On X, the captain of the team reacted quickly, denouncing “fake news”. “It’s becoming so predictable, the day before the hearing as if by chance,” he continued, referring to the hearing before the joint appeals committee of the Professional Football League scheduled for this Tuesday as part of the affair of the 55 million euros and unpaid wages that the striker is demanding from Saint-Germain.

Freed from his international obligations for the matches against Israel and Belgium, the captain of the Blues took the opportunity to travel, first to Sweden then to Corsica. He notably stayed at the Bank Hotel in the Swedish capital, where he stayed for two days. He then ate at the restaurant “Chez Jolie” and spent the evening at a nightclub in the city. He has been photographed masked on several occasions.

Contacted, PSG did not wish to respond.
