The testimonies of passengers who took Air Senegal flight HC 301 were chilling. Indeed, after the plane crash at the AIBD, the authorities on site a few minutes later announced measures, particularly in terms of support. But were they well respected? Apparently not according to the passengers who had the fright of their lives. In an interview they gave us, these eyewitnesses, despite their mentally unstable situation, explain to us their regrets at seeing the guardianship’s instructions not being respected. “When we got off the bus that took us to a hotel in Dakar, people gave us 40,000 francs. The minister gave instructions to give everyone 150,000 CFA francs. We don’t know them anyway, they just introduced themselves as those who were sent by the authorities to give us a sum to buy some clothes and other things… because we left all our luggage on the plane.” declares G. B who is the first to speak to our microphones to share his feelings with us. An opinion that he shares with several of them who expressed themselves.
