L’2024 edition de la Sainte-Échelle once again attracted a large audience Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 May 2024 on the Place des Justes in Cherbourg-Octeville (delegated municipality of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, Manche).

Established after the Second World War to celebrate all trades that work with a ladder, the festival has always taken place on Ascension Day.

Seven associations for various activities

A demonstration which has continued ever since, constantly renewing itself.

This year, seven associations responded to the call for projects launched by the City of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin in order to jointly offer various activities: Octevillais Secular Patronage (PLO); the Cherbourg-en-Cotentin Carnival, the Estivales de la montagne, Artisanat Commerce et Communication (ACC), the Aquatic Club Cherbourg, Secours Côte d’Ivoire and the Rescue and Safety Education Association (Ases) Cotentin.

Inflatable structures, concerts, wooden games, exhibition, market artisanal, garage sales, retirement in flambeaux And fireworks Wednesday May 8, 2024, the program delighted young and old alike, happy to participate in this good festive and sharing moment.
