A recent jurisdiction judging crimes punishable by twenty years of criminal imprisonment, the Orne departmental criminal court meets from Monday May 13 to Friday May 17, 2024. Three cases of rape and incestuous sexual assault on minors will be examined by a college of five judges.

The first case will be held from Monday May 13 to Tuesday May 14, 2024. A 38-year-old man is accused of rape of his daughter, born in 2005, and of sexual assault on his second daughter, born in 2008. Separated from the mother of children, he allegedly committed these acts between 2015 and 2022 during his visiting rights, in Putanges-le-Lac.

Already convicted for exhibition

The facts were revealed by a friend of one of the children, who denounced a sexual assault while she was sleeping in their home. She then told her mother about it. The man, who partially admits, had already been convicted in the past for sexual exhibition.

In the second case, judged on Wednesday May 15, the 23-year-old accused allegedly raped his cousin. Acts committed during the summer of 2019 in Gouffern-en-Auge, when the complainant was 6 years old and her cousin 18 years old. She revealed the facts to her parents shortly after. Her sister, who was also 6 years old, also denounces a kiss on the mouth, which constitutes sexual assault.

The complainant had confided in a friend

Finally, in the last trial which will be held from Thursday May 16 to Friday May 17, a 43-year-old man is accused of several rapes and sexual assaults on his daughter, born in 2007. The crimes allegedly took place at his home between 2013 and 2016 , in Chevilly-Larue (Val-de-Marne). He is also on trial for a sexual assault on his niece, born in 2001, committed between June 30, 2012 and June 1.er September 2013 in Faverdines (Cher) during a vacation with the grandmother.

Reporting the facts is quite complex. According to the file, the complainant told a classmate about the rapes she suffered. The latter would have appropriated this story to make false accusations. But the investigators noticed it and traced it back to the accused. The man, who lives in Alençon, disputes everything.
