Longueuil: a woman allegedly scalded a 10-year-old boy — 98.5 Montreal

A woman allegedly scalded a 10-year-old boy who was coming home from school in Longueuil, according to what our legal columnist Bénédicte Lebel learned.

The events occurred last Wednesday around 4:00 p.m. very close to Carillon school.

Listen to our columnist tell, on Patrick Lagacé’s microphone, this spine-chilling story.

The boy, who was walking with friends, allegedly took a shortcut and passed through the grounds of the building where the woman in question lives. That’s when she allegedly sprayed him.

Severely burned, he had to be taken to hospital.

The woman, aged in her forties, allegedly tried to justify her actions by saying that the child often comes to her house to disturb her after school.

La Longueilloise was arrested, but was released on a promise to appear with conditions of release to be respected.

She could face charges of assault causing harm and assault with a weapon.
