Firefighters from Canisy and Saint-Lô intervened on Thursday in a road accident in La Barre-de-Semilly. A pedestrian who was struck down was seriously injured. | WEST FRANCE
A 15-year-old teenager was seriously injured, shortly before 9 p.m., this Thursday, May 9, 2024 in La Barre-de-Semilly (Manche), near Saint-Lô. Firefighters from the Canisy and Saint-Lô emergency centers, supported by the Samu 50 medical team, responded to an accident on the public highway on the road from Saint-Jean to La Barre-de-Semilly.
The 15-year-old was on foot when he collided with a car. He was taken care of by the emergency services, firefighters and SMUR team of Saint-Lô, in serious condition and was transported to the Saint-Lô Memorial hospital for medical treatment.
