Since the start of the week, many train and metro lines have taken advantage of this long Ascension Bridge to carry out work. Most of these projects continue until Sunday inclusive.

On the RER lines

RER A. Until Sunday, trains will not run between Rueil-Malmaison in Hauts-de-Seine and Le Vésinet Center in Yvelines. A replacement bus service is set up, serving intermediate stations.

RER B. Saturday and Sunday, from 10:45 p.m., the line is stopped between Paris – Gare du Nord and Aéroport Charles-de-Gaulle 2/Mitry-Claye in Seine-et-Marne, in both directions. A replacement bus service is set up, serving intermediate stations.

RER C. The modernization of the Etampes signal station in Essonne requires a traffic cut until Sunday, 5 p.m., between Brétigny-sur-Orge and Saint-Martin d’Etampes. A replacement bus service is set up, serving intermediate stations.

On the Transilien network

K line. Traffic is suspended between Paris Gare du Nord and Mitry-Claye in Seine-et-Marne, until Sunday inclusive. “Please take the RER B between Paris Nord and Mitry-Claye, then take a line K train between Mitry Claye and Crépy-en-Valois (Oise),” advises the SNCF.

Lines L and U. Due to Taylor Swift’s concerts at La Défense Arena, the SNCF is informing of a “risk of high crowds at the station and on board trains departing from La Défense”, every day until Sunday inclusive.

In the subway

Line 4. Due to works, the entire line only opens at midday, Sunday, between Bagneux-Lucie-Aubrac in Hauts-de-Seine and Porte de Clignancourt.

Line 7. The north of the line is inaccessible until Sunday, between Gare de l’Est and La Courneuve – May 8, 1945 in Seine-Saint-Denis. A replacement bus is set up between La Courneuve and Stalingrad, every 2 to 4 minutes during peak hours, and every 5 to 10 minutes during off-peak hours. Line 5 is reinforced, but the RATP advises taking RER B to reach Gare du Nord rather than opting for the metro.

Line 14. Also until Sunday, line 14 remains completely closed. This involves making the definitive connection of the extended portions (up to Saint-Denis and Orly) to the existing line. RATP will connect the cables and weld the last rails. The next day, Monday May 13, the dry run will begin, before the planned commissioning of the extensions at the end of June.
