The Pentecost festival is approaching and with it the first major feria in the region, in Samadet, from Friday May 17 to Monday May 20. The organizers hope that the three planned Landes races will be able to take place normally given the malaise which has kept this Landes sport away from the arenas.
Friday May 17 at 9 p.m., the festivities will begin with the committee meal (adults, 18 euros; children up to 12 years old, 7 euros), followed by the committee evening hosted by DJ Romain.
Saturday, May 18 at 10:30 a.m., place at the Pentecost of the pitchouns at Gaye Park, with the participation of the Junior Harmony of the Samadétoise Musical Union (UMS). At 4 p.m., “Bodegarou” and its entertainment with DJ Ximum, open without interruption until 3 a.m.
At 6 p.m., the party will take place near the arenas, with a Landes race counting for the Landes/Béarn Challenge with the Deyris ganaderia and the Romain Clavé cuadrilla.
Parade of associations
At 9 p.m., meal (adults, 14 euros; children, 7 euros) followed at 10 p.m. by the Samadet inter-association parade, with the UMS. From 10:30 p.m., evening hosted by the Lous Faïences band.
Sunday, May 19, the day will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a musical mass hosted by the UMS. At 12 p.m., the Samadet associations will parade again with the UMS, before an aperitif concert at the committee bar. At 1 p.m., meal (adults, 17 euros; children, 7 euros).
At 5 p.m., time for the second Landes race of this feria, counting for the Challenge Landes/Béarn, with the ganaderia Dal and the cuadrilla Cyril Dunouau. At 8:30 p.m., meal (adults, 14 euros; children, 7 euros) and free concert at the committee with the Pick Up and the Lous Faïences band. At 11:30 p.m., fireworks at Gaye Park, hosted by the Lous Faïences band.
Monday, May 20, at 10:30 a.m., mass in the Sainte-Rose chapel. At 12 p.m., aperitif concert at the committee bar with the UMS, followed by a meal (adults, 15 euros; children, 7 euros). At 4:30 p.m., it will be time for the third Landes race of these festivities, counting for the Landes/Béarn Challenge. On the track, the Dargelos ganaderia and the Alexandre Duthen squad. At 8:30 p.m., paella and barrel dumping evening with DJ Romain.
The Sports Bar will not be left out during these four days of celebration. Friday, meal and opening of the festivities with DJ Le Joker; Saturday and Sunday all day, meal for 15 euros with DJ Le Joker; finally, Monday at 12 p.m., meal (reservation at 05 58 79 62 63).
