Today’s weather: yoyo game between the sun and the clouds in southern Quebec

The bad weather that prevailed Wednesday in southern Quebec will persist in certain areas of the center of the province, where there will be a few showers. Elsewhere, the sun will mark its return, alternating however with partial cloud cover.

In southern Quebec, Environment Canada predicts alternating sun and clouds, and temperatures of 17 degrees, particularly in Montreal.

Clouds will be more present in the morning in western Quebec, but clearings are expected for the rest of the day, under comfortable temperatures.

In the center of the province, the mercury will not be crazy this Thursday. The day will even be disrupted by a few showers and sometimes strong winds.

In Quebec, intermittent rain forecast in the morning will be followed by cloudiness with a 40% chance of showers under falling mercury.

A storm surge warning has also been issued for the Capitale-Nationale sector, where “higher than normal water levels near the coast” are expected.

In eastern Quebec, the weather will be generally cloudy with some clearing on the North Shore, but temperatures will remain below seasonal norms.

On the other hand, better weather conditions are anticipated for Friday, since the federal agency forecasts generally sunny weather with a few scattered clouds.
