The Luxembourg Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed this Thursday evening, May 9, the indictment of the suspect in the murder of a young 38-year-old woman, Melissa A., which occurred on May 8 on Rue des Croix du Feu in Arlon. The accused, Claudio M., was placed in preventive detention.

The Luxembourg Public Prosecutor’s Office announced this Thursday evening the indictment of the suspect in the murder of a 38-year-old woman who occurred in Arlon on the night of May 7 to 8. Having remained very quiet until now, the Prosecutor’s Office has partially confirmed what had leaked in the press and on social networks the day after the events.
“On Wednesday May 8, 2024 at 00.26, the local police area of Arlon was called to go to a house in the city center. The suspect was charged today with homicide. An arrest warrant was issued and the suspect was taken into custody.
