The MTQ foresees significant obstacles for the Pierre Laporte bridge and the Quebec bridge

The ramp leading from Highway 20 (Jean-Lesage) westbound to Highway 73 (Robert-Cliche) southbound will be completely closed from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next day.

During the targeted periods for the three complete closures, road users are invited to avoid the sector and use the Quebec Bridge if travel cannot be avoided. However, it will be possible to access the Pierre-Laporte bridge between periods of complete 30-minute closures, traffic being directed by patrols from the Ministry in collaboration with the Sûreté du Québec and Stratégie Routier Québec. The Department’s emergency coordination center will be active to respond to urgent situations that may arise during the event.

The Ministry would like to remind you that the ban on truck traffic on the Quebec Bridge will remain in effect, even during the complete closures of the Pierre-Laporte Bridge.

Other closures will be required on the Quebec Bridge in the coming weeks.
