Casteljaloux and its surroundings attract more and more tourists every year. To respond to this growth, the tourist office of the city of thermal baths presented a “new look” guide for the 2024 tourist season.

Printed in 10,000 copiesi.e. 4,000 more than last year, this guide highlights the dynamism of a territory which continues to grow.

A new tourist guide

The Casteljaloux tourist office covers 27 towns and much more.

After the redesign of its website, it also completely reorganized its annual guide. Anne Piveteau, the manager, explains: “The graphics have changed, but above all we wanted to put ourselves in the visitor’s place.”

Thus, the sections are classified by geographical location with the municipalities and all their tourist and artisanal attractionsas well as possible accommodation.

10,000 copies

This year, the guide was printed in 10,000 copies, i.e. 4,000 more than last year.

This is explained by the growth in the number of visitorsthe implementation of Center Parc or even thedevelopment of the greenway.

The guide has a very nice visual which highlights the territory and bodes well for a great season.

Julie Castillo, mayor of Casteljaloux

Valéry Buthieau, co-president with Daniel Farrugia who was excused, said he was very proud and very happy to present this new version. For him, it is the fruit of very good teamwork with Anne Piveteau the manager and the stay advisors with Magali Dulys, Sirtaqui referent, Manon Lecomte, communications manager, Charleen Henry, Anna Boizieau seconded to Center Parc .

Local crafts and associative activities

This year, 130 partners participated in the development of the guide. This ranges from local crafts, with the production of fruit, honey, poultry, soap, wine, cheese and many other local products that enhance the territory.

In addition, many other attractive, associative or professional activities are presented and also contribute to the development of the municipalities.

The tourist office will organize meetings with a group of professionals and partners in order to better understand everyone’s needs and further improve reception conditions. Tuesdays at the tourist office will resume with their activities from July 9.
