Maine-et-Loire. Farmers in difficulty: a one-stop shop for state services to facilitate procedures

In the context of the agricultural crisis at the start of 2024, the Prefect of Maine-et- had opened multi-administration offices in the sub-prefectures and at the Departmental Directorate of the Territories of Maine-et-Loire in order to provide, as close as possible to the field, individualized treatment of the difficulties that farmers may encounter on their farms. Between February and May 2024, these centers made it possible to receive more than 75 farmers, in order to support them in implementing concrete solutions to resolve their difficulties. Philippe Chopin, Prefect of Maine-et-Loire, decides to perpetuate these offices. From now on, farmers encountering difficulties (economic problems, management of administrative files, etc.) can contact State services via the following internet link: https://maine-et-loire .questionnaire.interieur.gouv.fr/index.php/363296. The Departmental Directorate of Territories (DDT) will collect requests and liaise with other state services and institutions capable of providing concrete responses to farmers: in particular the Departmental Directorate of Public Finances, the Departmental Directorate of protection of populations and Mutualité sociale agricole de Maine-et-Loire. If necessary, appointments will be offered at the DDT and in the sub-prefectures.
