We will still have to wait to find out if the young Spaniard, aged 7, will survive the terrible accident that occurred this Wednesday, May 8, 2024 around 7 p.m., at the Chessy bus station (Seine-et-Marne). The child, who spent the day at Disneyland Paris, was hit by a bus, which rolled partly over his body.
Seriously injured in the pelvis, he was airlifted to Necker hospital in Paris and his prognosis was still uncertain this Thursday morning. Alcohol and drug tests carried out on the bus driver were negative.
The investigation will shed light on the circumstances of the accident. According to initial findings, the child was running and did not see the bus that hit him, then located in a blind spot of the vehicle.
Remote monitoring will allow us to find out more, as well as the investigation which has been entrusted to the Lagny police station.
