A radar already set on fire
These fires are part of a series of radar damage which has affected the Bocage Ornais in recent years – a phenomenon which has increased this year. Four radars were “hooded” in January, four others were degraded at the beginning of March, including two cut with a grinder. The Montilly-sur-Noireau radar was cut during the night of March 31 to 1er April, then on the night of Friday May 3 to Saturday May 4, 2024, as well as that of La Ferrière-aux-Étangs. Finally, this same Saint-Mars-d’Egrenne radar had already been set on fire a little over a year ago, on the night of Friday February 10 to Saturday February 11, 2023.
