Animal Park located in Chizé in the south of the department, Zoodyssey extends over more than 30 hectares in the heart of the Chizé forest. On your way, you will encounter more than 800 animals, bears, monkeys, wolves, lynxes, bison, vultures, but also marmots, raccoons, otters, sousliks and the inevitable storks! All the animals live in semi-freedom in a preserved natural area close to their natural environments. A whole team surrounds these little animals with 26 agents, 1 veterinarian and 12 animal caretakers. An ideal setting which encourages animals to reproduce with 170 births per year.

The animals in the park are in their element which increases reproduction since there are 170 births per year in Zoodyssey. Workshops are also offered such as “The Caregiver for a Day”. You and your children become a member of the care team for a few hours. You will do everything, from feeding to cleaning the enclosures, from preparing food to caring for the animals, the park will no longer have any secrets for you.

The Valley Park

Located between the Bressuirais bocage and the Thouarsais, this family park welcomes you to Val en Vigne.
