For ten years now, the Bessegeois association Les Marrons Givrés has been inviting beer lovers to discover the brewing delights of Gard during the “Gard à la Bière” festival. This year, the event will take place on May 31 and June 1 at the Espace Jacques Frizon in Foussignargues, Bessèges.
The festival, which aims to energize the Cèze valley, has become an unmissable event for lovers of craft beers in the region. In addition to tasting high-quality local beers, Gard à la Bière offers a program rich in activities and discoveries.
This year’s edition, called the “pluriElles edition”, will highlight the presence of women in all aspects of the festival. More “brewers”, musical artists, circus performers, creators and producers will be there to liven up the festivities.
Beyond the tastings and events, Gard à la Bière is also an opportunity to raise public awareness of important societal issues. An information stand from the #NousToutes30 collective, committed to fighting sexist and sexual violence, will be present on the festival site.
To facilitate access to the festival, a free shuttle will run on Saturday June 1 from 4 p.m. to midnight, in the fun form of a little train, connecting the city center to the festival site. This will allow visitors to fully enjoy the event without worrying about parking constraints.
In summary, Gard à la Bière 2024 promises an immersion in the world of artisanal flavors, conviviality and sharing, all in a rural and festive setting. Come in large numbers to discover and taste the brewing treasures of Gard!
