A “broken trust”. This Friday, October 4, 2024, in a press release sent to Paris newsthe mayor of Neuilly-sur- (Seine-Saint-Denis), Zartoshte Bakhtiari indicates that he “made the decision to withdraw her delegation as assistant for health, disability and member of the CCAS» to Djénéba Diaby after his conviction by the court.

A story of checks before his former partner

On October 1, the now ex-deputy was sentenced to 12 months’ suspended imprisonment, a fine of 5,000 euros and a five-year ineligibility sentence. “for check forgery and use of falsified and false checks”details the town hall. A sentence for which Djénéba Diaby appealed.

“His conviction at first instance is indeed incompatible with the trust
essential to the functions it exercises, in representing the Municipality,
to a sensitive audience such as the elderly, people with disabilities or
vulnerable,” commented Zartoshte Bakhtiari.

During the trial reported by The Parisianjustice was interested in three checks for an amount of 125,000 euros each, signed by Claude G., a Lorraine entrepreneur and companion of Djénéba Diaby. But according to the court, the 64-year-old man – who has since died – was unable to sign his checks due to very poor health and suspects the 37-year-old woman of having done it for him.
