In May, take advantage of public holidays to donate blood in these towns in Nord – Pas-de-Calais

L’French blood establishment (EFS) would like to take advantage of public holidays, and the inactivity of workers, to welcome a maximum of blood donors in May. Exceptionally, several gift houses of the North – Pas-de-Calais will be open on Thursday May 9 And Pentecost Monday, May 20.

The donation centers of Lille, Dunkirk, Valenciennes and Arras exceptionally open

The needs are substantial: “A thousand donations are needed every day in Hauts-de-France,” recalls the EFS, which wishes to “encourage donors to take advantage of the free time caused by these 2 public holidays to accomplish a citizen gesture”.

In addition to donations, animations are put in place to make the time more pleasant : board games, medieval atmosphere, wellness day… You have to make an appointment before your arrivalto the telephone numbers corresponding to the donation house cited below.

Here is the program :

• Lille Donation House (3 -42 avenue Charles-Saint-Venant, 03 28 54 21 22):

  Thursday May 9: donations from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Monday May 20: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. With, on Thursday, role-playing games with the Longs marchers company in a medieval atmosphere.

• Dunkirk Donation House (Pôle Marine shopping center at 19, rue des Fusiliers Marins, 03 28 54 23 94)

  Thursday May 9: donations from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Monday May 20: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Valenciennes Donation House (1 passage from Arsenal, 03 28 54 79 19)

  Thursday May 9: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Monday May 20: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. A wellness day is planned for Thursday, massage, sophrology, hairdressing.

• Arras Donation House (4, rue Auguste-Dumand, 03 28 54 22 19)

  Thursday May 9: donations from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Monday May 20: from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with board games offered on both days.

Note that in Lille, another opportunity to donate blood presents itself on Tuesday, May 21 : THE Palais des Beaux-arts welcomes the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m..
