For the 40th anniversary of the conservatory, a series of events have been planned.

Forty years are worth celebrating. The festivities began last week at Cap Découverte and will continue until the end of June, so as not to forget any territory. In forty years, the Tarn music and dance conservatory has changed a lot. If initially, it only brought together the music schools of Castres (at the origin of the idea) and Albi, today, it has 8 municipalities and 4 public establishments of intermunicipal cooperation and the departmental council. All grouped together in a mixed union. There are now 1,900 students (compared to 1,100), coming from 150 municipalities. The teachers 93. The students performed 200 times during the year.

To adapt to the change in society, a new establishment project has just been established until 2030. And a new logo has been created. It was unveiled on Monday in the premises of the departmental council, accompanied by a small round of singing to launch the festivities.
