Quebec celebrates Heritage Week

On the occasion of Heritage Week, from May 17 to 26, Quebec City invites citizens to more than 80 free activities.

The City of Quebec invites citizens to participate in the first edition of Heritage Week. In fact, it will be held from May 17 to 26. Throughout the event, more than 80 free activities will be offered in several locations in all boroughs. Among them ; activities for young and old, visits, conferences, exhibitions, etc. According to the City, it is a “unique opportunity to discover or rediscover sometimes little-known places, know-how or traditional practices”.

“This week of activities is an opportunity to celebrate the heritage of Quebec in all its forms and to develop one’s knowledge and attachment to it,” said the heritage manager on the executive committee, Ms.me Mélissa Coulombe-Leduc. All partner organizations have worked very hard to offer accessible programming for everyone, children and adults, connoisseurs and novices. »

Underline your attachment to history and traditions

Thus, during the ten days of the event, citizens will have access to a varied program:
