the ironwork ‘Faut le fer’ participates in the restoration of Notre-Dame de Paris

Gard know-how is exported to Paris! The ‘Faut le fer’ ironworks team, based in Bouillargues, is currently in the capital.

Objective ? Participate in the restoration of Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral. On April 15, 2019, this emblematic building went up in flames, before the eyes of stunned Parisians and tourists. On April 16, the President of the Republic promised its restoration and reopening in five years.

Cyril Théophile, who was joined by his two sons, Steven and Thomas, at the helm of the company, will thus be able to work on the reconstruction of this witness to the history of France. It is planned to install the floor grilles which will receive the decorative brass plates for the ventilation and all the handrails. Before that, the company had already produced 130 linear meters of stair railings for the Grand Palais in preparation for the Olympics. Not to mention another construction site in… Hong Kong!
