These are two new speed radars which have just appeared. The first in the North, the second in the Pyrénées-Orientales.

It is a new autonomous radar which has just been put into service on October 3 in a work zone, on the A1 motorway which links Paris to Lille. The device in question is located in the North of France (59), indicates the specialized site radars-auto.com. A precisely installed cabin “just after interchange 19, in Seclin”. The autonomous radar, a movable battery-powered radar, was placed on a section where the speed is limited to 70 km/h. In other words, any traffic passing at a speed of 71 km/h will be penalized by a flash for speeding. Finally, note that the presence of this autonomous speed radar, which only flashes from the rear, is indicated by a specific sign.
A second autonomous radar
Furthermore, radars-auto.com further indicates, a double-sided radar has just appeared on October 2 on the D617, in Perpignan (66) on a road limited to 110 km/h for light vehicles and 80 km/h for heavy goods vehicles. Currently in the testing phase, the device is installed “between exit 2 Bompas and exit 1 Perpignan-center” As you will have understood, if you have to travel in these areas over the next few days, take care to maintain the authorized speed.
