In a post published on the X network, the official account of the line indicated that traffic is interrupted in both directions “between Trocadéro and Charles de Gaulle – Etoile, due to security measures”. An interruption which therefore concerns four stations: Charles-de-Gaulle-Etoile, Kléber, Boissière and Trocadéro.

Two other metro stations affected

These security measures, decided by the police headquarters, are prompted by the visit of Xi Jinping, the Chinese president, to France to celebrate sixty years of Franco-Chinese diplomatic relations.

Line 6 is not the only one affected since the Invalides (Lines 8, 13 and RER C) and Champs-Elysées-Clémenceau (Lines 1 and 13) stations are also closed this Monday until 1 p.m.
