Ten years ago the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities was ratified. To celebrate this, the Federal Office for Equality for People with Disabilities (BFEH) and the Conference of Cantonal Directorates of Social Affairs have set up a month of action, from May 15 to June 15. In total, 1000 awareness projects will be organized at the national level with one objective: an inclusive future.

In the canton of Fribourg, 50 actions are planned during this period with the support of thirty partners. This is to “promote inclusion and accessibility, but also raise public awareness of the challenges of people with disabilities and encourage exchange and dialogue between citizens”, underlines the Directorate of Health and Social Affairs in its communicated. All the events can be found on the Avenir Inclusif website.
