The interception took place around 4:00 a.m. on May 1, and the location of the drug boat was made possible thanks to the cooperation of the exchange of information with the Directorate General of Surveillance of the Moroccan Territory (DGST), which alerted of the arrival on the coast of Tenerife of a boat, coming from Morocco, with the objective of smuggling on our coasts, we learn via the same Source.

Taking into account these facts, the command of the Civil Guard of Santa Cruz de Tenerife designed a special operation on the coast of Tenerife during which the agents of the Civil Guard surprised the seven detainees on the promenade of the Mesa del Mar , belonging to the municipality of Tacoronte.
