AgriEdge launches the “Act for AgWater” initiative, aiming to improve water governance and efficiency using new technologies. This action occurs in order to face the challenges of recurring droughts and the scarcity of water resources.

The key axes of this initiative include technology transfer, training, innovation through digital services, but also the strengthening of links between researchers, start-ups and producers.

« Through this initiative, we wish to contribute modestly to the national mobilization aimed at mitigating the impact of water stress on our farmers and our agriculture. We have developed strong expertise in AgTech, through this initiative we wish to put this expertise at the service of the farmer in order to enable them to monitor each drop of water on their farms to optimize the yield of this drop » declared Faissal SEHBAOUI, CEO of Agriedge.

“Act for AgWater”, deployed over 10 months, will train 10,000 farmers, involve 150 stakeholders, mobilize 250 young people to innovate in irrigation, and cover 150,000 hectares via the “AgWater Edge” digital platform.
