Here is the editorial selection of Yew Saint-Etienne to have fun and have fun in the Loire next weekend, May 10, 11 and 12. A list of events, selected independently and, of course, not exhaustive.
1 – Heading for an exhibition
A new exhibition has been taking place since the beginning of April at the Saint-Etienne Museum of Art and Industry. Entitled “From Olympia to Saint-Etienne”, it looks back at the place of sport in history, starting from the Saint-Etienne example. Graphic works, sporting objects, there will be something for everyone.
2 – Go gaga
From Friday May 10 to Sunday May 12, the 6e edition of the Complètement Gaga festival, in Saint-Etienne. A festival dedicated to street arts and which offers varied shows around theater, music, dance, and even circus arts. All of this, always at a free price.
3 – When jazz is there
Saturday May 11, the Château de Saint-Marcel-de-Félines hosts its first Jazz & Poetry Festival. A unique experience that brings together rhythms and words. Several stages will be spread throughout the castle gardens, with open-air concerts, creative workshops for children, intimate sessions, as well as meetings with artists and poets.
4 – On the farm
Friday May 10, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the “Les Délices Fermiers” farm can be visited in Saint-Symphorien-de-Lay. On two sites, the farm covers 150 hectares, 80% of which is grass, in order to feed the animals. Cow cheeses, cold meats, poultry, as well as veal and heifer meat are produced here.
5 – Treasure hunt
In Apinac, at the Vignal mill, it is possible to book a family treasure hunt. All you have to do is put together a team of five people aged 7 and over, and reserve your time slot to try to find out who could have sabotaged the Mill…
