A neighborhood to open up and reconnect with the city
In this sector, the stated objectives are clear: open up the neighborhood, make public spaces more welcoming, offer residents and passers-by a route that is both safe and pleasant to use. New routes will cross the neighborhood to connect it to other districts of the City.
A new square at the entrance to the rue Suzanne Lenglen district
The urban renewal project will provide quality public and private spaces for a peaceful neighborhood with the creation of a new square which will mark the entrance to the neighborhood on the Suzanne Lenglen side and will allow the installation of new businesses and housing. A second square with a garden will be created on the site of the current boiler room which is intended to be demolished as part of the geothermal development project in Val Francilia. In place of the Schweitzer Towers, a real park will be created. A residentialization project for the Laënnec slab is also being considered.
