The Blésois could have many regrets after this defeat conceded against Nanterre after extra time on Tuesday April 30. However, once again, they demonstrated, as was the case recently against Villeurbanne and Cholet, although beaten at the very end of the match, that they were well on the level of the teams who will soon compete in the Trophée du Futur.

Each time he didn’t miss much, just a little more consistency throughout the duration of a match. This was the case last Tuesday, to offer themselves a victory which seemed promised to them until the 37e minute when they were still 8 points ahead (70-78), before a wave of panic began to blow in the face of poorly controlled zone defense and ruined all efforts.

And we cannot say that they will make this Saturday’s trip to Strasbourg in the best possible condition. Indeed, they will have to do without two valuable players: Victor Yimga, author of 25 points against Nanterre, and Jean Ernest Boyomo. Both were left at the disposal of the U18 team, which will seek, Saturday May 4 and Sunday May 5, to qualify for the Elite Final Four group B.

The interior sector will therefore suffer in the face of a solidly armed formation with boys of the caliber of Pietrus, Coffi and even Béranger.

Frédéric Daguenet, the local coach, is well aware of the task awaiting his team. “With a reduced workforce we know very well that it will be complicated. However, we will play with our weapons. It’s a shame not to be able to fully compete for your chances because we play above all to win”.

Still, ADA will be looking to erase the first leg defeat, which would be a small feat.
