A solidarity bullfighting day in Méjanes with Marc Serrano on October 20
It is on Sunday October 20 that Marc Serrano, via his association Un toro pour un rêve d’enfant, will organize his solidarity bullfighting day. It will take place in the Méjanes arenas. It will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a bolsin with becerros from La Pampa and El Campo. It will continue with a meal which will be followed by a festival. At the paseo, the Mexican rejoneadors Ayala with Ximena the daughter and Cuauh the father, the matadors Marc Serrano, Javier Cortes, Gomez del Pilar and Andy Younes and the triumphant of the morning bolsin. They will face toros and novillo from the Curé de Valverde, Cuille, Turquay, El Campo and Pagès-Mailhan ganaderias. Note that the Nîmes painter Claude Viallat will sponsor this day.
The funds raised will be donated to the Capitelles medical educational institute (IME) in Nîmes and to the early medico-social action center (CAMSP) at the Arles hospital center. Both take care of children with all forms of disabilities. Thanks to this festival, these two structures shared 20,000 euros last year. Bullfighting day in Fourques on 1is November
The Campuzano bullfighting circle, the Cayetano Rivera Ordóñez peña and the Javier Cortés peña join forces again to organize a new bullfighting day in and near the Fourques bullring on Friday, November 1st. It will begin at 9 a.m. with a bullfighting garage sale. It will continue at 11 a.m. with the performance of a macho of Chamaco origin for the selection of breeding stock for the Barcelo and La Suerte ganaderias. The match will be ensured by the matador Christian Parejo.
At 3 p.m., the highlight of the day will be a novillada without picadors with four erales from the Gallon brothers, from Pagès-Mailhan and La Suerte. On this occasion, the Saintois Victor will perform his very last race in this category before his passage, during the next time in novillada piqué. For his part, the Nîmes Clovis, now a resident of the Béziers bullfighting school, will make his debut without picadors. A day of Spain and traditions in Marsillargues
Audaz Production is organizing a Spain and traditions day on Saturday October 5 in Marsillargues (Hérault). On the program, at 11 a.m., in the courtyard of the castle (free entry), parlor bullfight, introduction to the art of bullfighting; at 3:30 p.m., in the bullring, cow holding (without killing) from the Turquay ganaderia with El Rafi, Lalo de Maria and Joaquin Cadenas (entrance, €10; €5 for those under 18 years old).
