Palestinian signs and flags are still hanging on the doors and windows of the Lille Higher School of Journalism, this Friday, May 3. Students continue their mobilization of support in Gaza started this Thursdayand again block the entrance to the school.

ESJ closed, Sciences Po open

Around thirty young people met in the early morning in front of the doors of the establishment. Some are part of the journalism school, but the group also includes students from the university and Sciences Po Lille, located a few meters away.

In front of the CRS cordon, around fifty students marched in the adjacent streets singing “We are here !“. The CRS charged twice, pushing back the young people with their shields.

The students then staged a sit-in in front of the police. Rue Gauthier de Châtillon has closed to traffic.

The ESJ is currently closed, Sciences Po has been able to reopen.
