The French Touch Rugby championship passes through Strasbourg

This is the third day of the French touch rugby club championship.

The competition is being held this weekend, May 4 and 5, at the Rotonde sports center in Strasbourg.

The best teams in France, mixed or men’s, regional, elite or national, compete in this tournament.

On the field, 32 teams, the majority of which are mixed teams, will seek qualification for the “Super Touch” finals (which will take place in June in Clermont).

The “Lions”, the Strasbourg mixed touch rugby team, are currently 4th in the national championship, and could well qualify for the final round.

Tchapp had already presented the team here. Video to watch again in our player.

Touch what?

Touch rugby is a soft version of rugby. No tackles, we touch the carrier of the oval ball, and that’s good.

In addition, this sport can be mixed, boys and girls in the same team, like in Strasbourg.

Competitions take place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Details on the website of the French Touch Rugby federation, Touch France.
