What to do in Montreal this weekend? May 3, 4 and 5, 2024

Spring is definitely here in Montreal! What could be better than taking advantage of the weekend to admire the flowers, stroll in the parks, take a bike ride… In short, live the good life in our beautiful city. You can do whatever you like, it’s May 2024! And to top off a successful weekend, here is my small selection of good activities to do. On the program, for example: laughter, drawing, shopping and science.

We take out the pencils for the International Urban Sketchers

Created in 2012, the Urban Sketchers Montreal (USK Mtl) group brings together beginners or experienced designers, professionals or amateurs. The idea behind this movement is very simple: do urban sketching in the company of other designers, on the medium of your choice. This weekend you can participate in the International Urban Sketchers Week by going to draw on the quays of the Old Port. Looking forward to seeing your works!

Otherwise, at Montreal Science Centeryou will be able to meet your first blob and at the Micheline-Gagnon library your children will be able to become a scientific detective for a day!

We are cleaning our beautiful Jarry park

With the snow melting comes the beginning of spring and all the buried waste reappears. But since it’s nice outside, it’s perfect time to go out and do some cleaning in our beautiful city and especially in our superb parks! This Saturday, come and add your stone to the building during the Jarry Park cleaning chore. A great activity that can also be done as a family for learn the right principles to the youngest!
