A delegation of elected officials from the City of Dijon, Dijon metropolis and the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Region visited Vinnytsia in Ukraine from April 23 to 27, 2024.
A delegation of elected officials from the city of Dijon, Dijon metropolis and the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region went to Vinnytsia in Ukraine to demonstrate their solidarity and commitment to Ukraine.
They met with the mayor and president of the oblast as well as officials from the hospital sector, universities, the school system and the agri-food sector to prepare a future joint cooperation agreement with the region and the city of Vinnytsia.
For your information, the city of Dijon will host a class of 26 students from Vinnytsia and their four teachers from May 27 to June 14. These children are all sons and daughters of soldiers who fell at the front or are currently in combat. This initiative is the result of a partnership between the City of Dijon, Sciences-Po and the associations Aidons l’Ukraine Dijon and Prykhystock (the Shelter), with the support of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region.
