The road surveillance unit informed, at 5:45 p.m., this Thursday, May 2, 2024, that a circulation accident was in progress on the A1 motorway, towards Lille. In fact, a car was lying on the left lane, at height of Camphin-en-Carembault (North)shortly before Phalempin.
THE Pas-de-Calais firefighters, in particular, went to the scene. They reported two vehicles involved. Shortly after 7 p.m., the car was removed from the left lane, allowing a gradual return to normal. In fact, traffic jams persist in the evening.

The accident vehicle was blocking access to the left lane. The traffic jams reached 12 km, around 7:15 p.m., even after the car had been removed, around 7 p.m. They were recorded between the scene of the accident and Noyelles-Godault.
