For its seventh edition, the Elsass Rock and Jive Festival takes us back to the past. For five days (on deck from May 8 to 12), he takes us into the madness of fifties… Concerts, burlesque shows, miss “Elsass Rock and Jive 2024” election, car showand other Elvises wedding : at the Illiade (Illkirch), it will be no less than 7,000 m² “dedicated to lovers of the 50s, rock’n’roll, pin-ups and burlesque”. A “Viva Las Vegas” atmosphere, a few minutes from Stras’!
In a few days, it will be rock’n’roll in Illkirch. On the occasion of the seventh edition of the Elsass Rock and Jive Festival, the Iliade will take a leap back into the past, until the 1950s. Music, entertainment, attractionstions: It’s a hell of a lineup… We hope you’re well hooked!

If the festival appeals so much to enthusiasts, it is not only for its concerts… But also for the many curiosities on offer. Among the most unusual this year? THE Chili Hot Challenges (spicy sauce/peanut competition) to make your mouth water (or rather set things on fire)…
And our favorite? L‘Elvis weddingto pass the ringu finger! One of the flagship activities offered by the festival. The idea? Exchanging vows like in Vegas, in front of the local Elvis (Rick Cavan). An illegal marriage… but which has the merit of being unparalleled. As the saying goes king : “It’s now or never. »
Without forgetting : the burlesquethat, obviously. The poster announces the arrival of international award-winning artists, such as Miss Jolie Papillon (Great Britain) or Miss Scarlett Martini (Italy). Or Curly Gumbo Lee (Switzerland), and our local stars: the Pin-Up from Alsace with Luna Moka And Lemm Rollicking. And the one who will present, but which we no longer present: Coco Das Vegas !
For ever more glamour, The Clandestine Gambettes, as for them, their most beautiful feathers will emerge; when the burlesque bingo will give you him, very show. The concept ? A giant grid on the ground, with strippers who will drop their costumes on numbers… If yours are winners, you leave with gifts.
The festival also plans several pin-up and mini pin-up paradesand the awaited election of Miss “Elsass Rock and Jive 2024”. (Who of the 10 candidates will succeed Honey Hula Rose?)
Back to the 1950s!
But the festival is also a good reason to completely immerse yourself in the atmosphere, and dress up for the occasion. So, for you to twist your festival with a touch of challenge and style, Elsass Rock and Jive has unveiled the themes of each day (take it or leave it).
Wednesday, direction “Hollywood Studio” ; Thursday, atmosphere “Tiki Flower” ; Friday, we set sail with the trend “Navy” ; Saturday, we bring out our claws with a theme “Leopard” and on Sunday the spirit will be “Guinguette”.
Besides, if your wardrobe lacks retro nuggets, You’ll be able to bargain at vintage market to shop there, or stop at a barber, tattoo or piercing stand to work on your rocker look. And if you like big bodywork, you’ll even find a car show to admire the Cadillac slamming.

Because obviously: this festival would not be without music. Nine groups will perform including Spunyboys, Jazz Connection Or Big Dood and Hot Swingers. You can also let off steam on the track during the retro DJ’s partyor during Happy Sunday Dancing, on Sunday.
