Limoges CSP: the reasons for an investigation

According to our information, the Limougeaud club is the target of an investigation by the Interdepartmental Directorate of the National Police due to suspicious financial arrangements.

With everything that is currently happening around the Limoges CSP, some would almost forget that the Limoges club is still the target of an investigation by the Interdepartmental Directorate of the National Police (DIPN) following a letter sent to the public prosecutor by the auditors (CAC). An investigation opened by the Limoges public prosecutor’s office for “suspicions of financial embezzlement”.

Today we know a little more about the facts denounced this winter by the auditors of the Limougeaud club. According to our information, during their mission they became aware of financial arrangements that could be qualified as criminal acts. One of them was notably used by a company belonging to Stéphane Roulois, shareholder of the club who had been missing for several weeks, to pay part of the partnership invoices that it owed to the Limougeaud club since last season as we revealed to you in our June 2023 survey on the nebulous management of the CSP*. As a reminder, on May 5, 2023, Stéphane Roulois was billed for more than 150,000 euros excluding tax by the CSP.

To enable one of the fifty-year-old’s companies to settle part of its debts, Guillaume Lanave, although a simple commercial director of the club, took responsibility for signing a lease for the rental of premises belonging to… Stéphane Roulois’ company. Neither director of the SASP Limoges CSP nor of the ESCSP, the training organization of the Limoges club of which he was, at the material time, a 100% subsidiary, his functions did not allow him to sign this lease.

I didn’t know about it when I arrived at the club. I saw no malice

But the objective was to install the ESCSP in the premises of Stéphane Roulois. Still according to our information, the money to pay the rent was advanced by… SASP Limoges CSP at the request of Guillaume Lanave. Thanks to this financial windfall received in advance, the company owned by Stéphane Roulois was then able to pay part of its partnership invoices due to… Limoges CSP.

Contacted this Wednesday, the chairman of the board Didier Jamot initially tried to minimize this matter: “The auditors published something that we cleared up. They got a little carried away. Our lawyers responded to the prosecution. To my knowledge, there is no further investigation. » In ours, it is still in progress and could even accelerate.

The president of the CSP then admitted part of the facts: “Yes, the ESCSP did rent premises to Mr. Roulois. But I wasn’t aware of it when I arrived at the club. I saw no malice. »

If the premises, located in the Corgnac shopping center area, are still not ready to receive students from the Limoges CSP training organization, which has since sold 60% to Adrien Jannel and become EFFOR Limoges CSP, this is not the case. would be more than a matter of time, assures us Didier Jamot. The first rents have already been paid…

One more stone in the shoe of Lionel Peluhet, potential buyer of the club, who sent his offer this Thursday to Céline Forte.

* Stéphane Roulois did not respond to our requests.
