The 104th Tours Fair opens for 10 days at the exhibition center

The 104th edition of the Tours fair opens on Friday May 3, at 10 a.m., at the exhibition center. With 370,000 visitors in ten days, last year, it rose to the rank of first commercial meeting in the central region. A specificity this year: exceptionally, there is no invited country.

Sport and the Olympism in the spotlight

It’s an Olympic year, so this year, sport is in the spotlight. Sport, or rather sports since around thirty disciplines will be the subject of demonstrations and initiations. An exhibition will also allow you to relive the highlights of the Olympic Games throughout history.

500 exhibitors on 19 hectares

What does not change, however, is free entry and parking, as well as the number of exhibitors: there are around 500, spread over the 19 hectares of the exhibition park, including around a hundred restaurateurs or bartenders in the gastronomic village, which is often the busiest place. From the camper to the kitchen, from the swimming pool to the fireplace, you will find everything, or almost everything, in the nine commercial spaces. The halls are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.. The gastronomic village welcomes gourmets until midnight (except Saturdays 4 and 11 and Sunday 5 May, when bars and restaurants will be open until 1 a.m.).

Mediators to resolve possible disputes

You may also come across a few mediators, present to resolve any disputes between sellers and buyers: There is no 14-day right of withdrawal after a purchase at a fair. A little-known feature that puts some consumers in difficulty with each edition.

Come discover the radio and sing, with France Bleu Touraine

The Tours fair is a France Bleu Touraine event. Every day, until May 12, our radio will be live from the exhibition center, several hours a day. Every afternoon, between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., you can learn about radio on our stand.

Also remember that you can come play and sing with usSaturday May 4, on the main stage: from 6 to 7 p.m., Nicolas Bedin and Julien Hilaire will host a blind test. Then, it’s time for Clément Cousin and Yann Méraki, for a giant karakoefrom 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
