A 42-year-old man was found dead on Tuesday May 16 in an apartment in Grenoble. His brother, present at the scene when the police and emergency services arrived, is suspected of the murder.
Shortly after 9 p.m., a 42-year-old man was found dead in an apartment on boulevard Foch in Grenoble by the Isère firefighters. Hit by numerous stab wounds, the man could not be revived.
The information, revealed by our colleagues from Dauphiné Libéré, was confirmed this Wednesday by the public prosecutor of Grenoble.
The man was reportedly stabbed mainly in the chest. The victim’s brother was found prostrate in the kitchen of the apartment, in possession of a knife and a hammer. The police arrested the 37-year-old man, covered in blood, who did not put up any resistance. He is suspected of being the perpetrator.

“The magistrate of the permanent prosecutor’s office came to the scene last night and entrusted the investigation to the police officers of the departmental security of Grenoble”, indicated Eric Vaillant, the public prosecutor of Grenoble.
The suspect would be followed for psychiatric problems.
