In his column “Mourad de Toulon” broadcast on Eurosport, the former president of the Rugby Club Toulonnais, Mourad Boudjellal returned to the defeat conceded by Montpellier against USAP on Saturday at home (20-25).

In the process, he makes fun of the affair concerning Billy Vunipola, the recruit from Montpellier. Extract:
“Their star recruit Billy Vunipola was arrested in Spain, he was tased and they sedated him! We don’t really know the circumstances but we know that he was in a bar and he was watching the Montpellier match on French TV. In the end, he had a seizure and the police had to intervene. He was shouting: “why did I sign for this club!” That’s all we know!”
Also, he believes that President Mohed Altrad would not support relegation to Pro D2 at all. Extract:
“But Vunipola is nothing compared to what can happen in Montpellier! The taser and the sedative, save it for Mohed Altrad. I don’t know if you saw this last image where we see Mohed Altrad on the sidelines with a dark look. But I can tell you: if Montpellier goes down to Pro D2, we will need a taser, sedatives, there will be a giant barbecue and above all, we will have to flee. Because a boy like Altrad who is extremely brilliant, who is not used to failure and who has succeeded in everything he has undertaken, I can tell you that a descent into Pro D2 will be very difficult for him.
