The composers in the spotlight of this 77th edition
This year again, the society of authors, composers and music publishers (SACEM) is present at the Cannes Film Festival to support and highlight the greatest cinema composers.
If many of them – such as Alexandre Desplat, Benjamin Biolay or Amine Bouhafa – will be present on the Croisette to represent films in competition, SACEM has also planned several events dedicated to these brilliant cinema artisans who thrill moviegoers .
A program without a false note
To highlight composers and their work, SACEM is organizing several events at the heart of the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. Nature, date, time… We tell you everything about the progress of these public events not to be missed!
Proudly led by Philippe Rombi, famous for his collaborations with François Ozon, Yann Samuell and Agnès Jaoui, the composers present at this 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will take the steps on May 19 during the first gala session. For a more in-depth approach, the initiative “Spot the composer” allows you to attend meetings with the greatest directors and producers, led by composers between May 18 and 20. Fascinating exchanges between professionals, accessible to all.
