After an accident, a car without a license ends up in the fence of the military stables of Saumur

This Thursday, April 2, around 8 a.m., in Saumur, a traffic accident involved an unlicensed car and another light vehicle. According to information collected on site, no casualties have been reported.

Two vehicles collided

However, material damage was visible on two vehicles and on the grounds of the Écoles Militaires de Saumur (EMS). An Aixam brand cart and another vehicle collided at the exit of the Général-Arnold roundabout towards the Boulevard du Général-Weygand. The cart was propelled into a fence overlooking the EMS stables.

The light vehicle was quickly sent to a garage while the unlicensed car, unfit to drive, remained on the scene for more than half an hour. The fence of the military stables, although deformed, was not torn apart by the impact of the vehicle.
