In the advanced match of the twenty-fourth day of LBE, the Nantes Neptunes traveled to Mérignac, before facing Nice this Sunday and playing the Final 4 of the European League next Saturday.
After the storm which fell on the Neptunes with the elimination in the Coupe de France, the defeat at home against Paris 92 which went ahead in the LBE ranking, the lull seems to settle in Nantes. Helle Thomson’s players have a second victory in Mérignac. A notch above throughout the meeting, the Neptunes were able to turn, ten days before Final 4, in Graz. Marie Sajka once again made a name for herself with her nine goals and the young Imen Chagh, in the pivot position, was able to gain playing time. Tamara Horacek’s teammates won 21 to 37. Note the great performance of Floriane André who finishes with sixteen parades.
There will remain the match of the twenty-third day to be played on Sunday, before switching to the European League semi-final, which was a major objective of the Neptunes’ season.
