A violent fire broke out IN the evening this Wednesday, May 1, in the port of Saint-Laurent-du-Var in the Alpes-Maritimes. Five boats were destroyed, two others damaged.
According to the SDIS 06 fire brigade communications service, the fire broke out shortly after 10:30 p.m.. The disaster, which spread to other boats, destroyed boats 10 to 15 meters long in the port of Saint-Laurent-du-Var in the Alpes-Maritimes.
At the height of the intervention, there were 67 of them fighting the flames and limiting the spread to boats in the immediate vicinity.

In 2020, this port experienced another violent fire but in restaurants.
The “Uniq’Brasserie” restaurant in Saint-Laurent-du-Var was ravaged by flames in September 2020 before the fire spreads to three other nearby establishments, located on the Flots Bleus promenade. Four people, including two men suspected of belonging to the “Corso-Niçois milieu”, had been indicted.
