Girondins de Bordeaux: Jérôme Dauba coach of FCGB Women

Jérôme Dauba took charge of FCGB Women on April 10 following the end of the contract between the Girondins de Bordeaux and Patrice Lair. With Bordeaux, Jérôme Dauba was twice elected best coach of D1 Arkema in 2018 and 2019.

Originally from Chartres, Jérôme Dauba coached the national U19s of Mérignac before launching into women’s football. In June 2016, he coached the Girondins de Bordeaux women’s team which had just reached D1 Arkema, which he led for 3 seasons, taking the team from remaining on the last day of the 2016-2017 season to a fourth place in 2018-2019. He will also be elected twice in a row as best coach of D1 Arkema. The history of football is thus made that after this journey he was thanked by the Girondins de Bordeaux. Occupying various positions with the French women’s teams, he took over the women’s section following the departure of Patrice Lair last April. A women’s section relegated to the second division at a time when women’s football is being structured in France with the creation of a professional women’s league. What are these objectives for next season, what will his squad be, how does he see the developments in women’s football, one week before the end of the season, it’s time to listen to Jérôme Dauba.
