After the blockade of the Paris campus of Sciences-po on Friday, but also those of Rennes or Strasbourg today, demonstrators occupied the campus of Sciences-po Toulouse, this Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in solidarity with Palestine.

A hundred demonstrators

According to our journalist present at the Institute of Political Studies of Toulouse At the end of the day, around a hundred demonstrators were present on site.

In a press release sent to the press at the end of the day on Tuesday, the demonstrators expressed their demands: they demand “the end of partnerships with Israeli universities; the absence of sanctions against the mobilized students and that the management of Sciences-po take a position on the genocide in Gaza. »

The police dislodge the demonstrators

According to our journalist on site, some of the demonstrators were inside the campus, while the others were in front of the establishment. It seems that the management, informed of the demonstration, chose to close access to the IEP, blocking some of the demonstrators inside.

Around 7:15 p.m., the police intervened to dislodge the demonstrators inside the Toulouse IEP.

All the demonstrators then met in front of the establishment. After a few anti-cop and pro-Palestinian slogans, one of the spokespersons announced, to applause, the end of the demonstration, around 7:20 p.m.
