Quentin Dupieux once again sets out to conquer the Cannes Film Festival by presenting his new film, barely four months after the release of Daaaaaali!. In The Second Actwe find accustomed to his filmography next to new kidsin a story which is structured as follows: Florence (Léa Seydoux) wants to introduce David (Louis Garrel), the man with whom she is madly in love, to her father Guillaume (Vincent Lindon). But David is not attracted to Florence and wants to get rid of her by throwing her into the arms of his friend Willy (Raphaël Quenard). The four characters find themselves in a restaurant in the middle of nowhere. You can watch the trailer, but not sure if it tells you much: you know, the less Quentin Dupieux reveals, the better he is.
