Halloween is approaching and it’s time to prepare your program to shiver when the time comes. Enigmatic cruises, haunted parks or nights in a horrifying forest… Here are five unusual outings to enjoy this increasingly popular event in France.
Escape game cruises on the Seine
A trip on the Seine between thrills and enigmas. For Halloween, the Parisian boat company has decided to challenge its passengers, and is offering to embark on “escape game” sailings. Cursed cruises will await children from October 28 to November 3, with the program of puzzles to solve in seasonal settings. More frightening trips, called “The crossing of the damned”, will also be intended for adults (from 14 years old), with the motto of showing logic and courage within the framework of this escape game announced as hellish.

Hotel Dracula reopens for an immersive experience
The Hotel Dracula experience returns to Galeries Montparnasse for Halloween, with a dive into the home of the most famous vampire, which revisits the concept of a haunted house using virtual reality. Equipped with a VR headset, participants will wander through the frightening settings of his mansion and its equally terrifying surroundings, and will be confronted with numerous horrific encounters between hordes of zombies, crawling undead or even yeti with sharp teeth. Will they succeed in overcoming their fears?

A night in the forest to push your limits
Sensitive souls refrain. Between morbid investigation, immersive theater and survival in the forest, the Freeing escape game, located in Oise, decided this year to push the limits of fear. In partnership with Wintercan concept, the site offers a truly immersive, horrific experience on October 31. The concept: spend the night in a 27-hectare forest (from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.), try to solve the investigation by making the right choices, and above all survive by escaping the actors who will certainly irritate the participants’ nerves under severe strain. Lasting 5 hours, this evening worthy of the Blair Witch Project is prohibited for under 16s. It is better not to delay in booking, places are limited. In addition to this new experience, Freeing also offers four escape games and six immersive games with horrific scenarios.

A family escape game in the “haunted” park of Nanterre Castle
For families this time, Monkey Kwest is also organizing an outdoor escape game on the theme of Halloween, and is once again taking over the park of the Château de Nanterre. In teams of 2 to 6 people, adventurers will have to try to close the magic portal, from which around ten monsters have escaped into the park. To get there, they will have to find these creatures, answer riddles and complete challenges in order to take back the magic crystals and send them home, before it is too late and they haunt the earth forever.

Fear in the park, the monstrous event at Parc Astérix
Parc Astérix is still going strong with its annual “Fear in the Park” event, its haunted houses and its monsters and creatures wandering among other things in the aisles. A return meeting from October 5 to November 11, including nine nights.
